Get Your PLAATO Pros Online
This guide will walk you through adding your PLAATO Pros and PLAATO Connect to the app and getting them connected.
Once your PLAATO Connect is successfully connected to the internet, it’s time to add your devices to the app.
Step 1: Add PLAATO Pro(s) and PLAATO Connect to the App

Log into the mobile app using your PLAATO Pro account credentials.

Go to Account > Devices and tap the Plus (+) icon.

Scan the QR code located on your PLAATO Pro device.
To add the PLAATO Connect:

Go to Account > Connect and tap the Plus (+) icon.

Scan the QR code located on the back of the PLAATO Connect.

Check when the PLAATO Connect was last online. It should show heartbeats from the last few minutes.
Your devices are now added to the PLAATO Pro app 🌟
Step 2: Insert Batteries and Turn On Your PLAATO Pro
⚠️ Before turning on your PLAATO Pro, insert the batteries.

Unscrew the lid on your device.

Remove the batteries from the side pockets of the PLAATO Pro case.

Use the pull ribbon to remove the battery holder.

Insert the batteries into the holder.
-
Gently slide the battery holder back into the device.

With the lid still unscrewed, toggle the power switch to “On.”
You should feel a vibration or hear a beep.
Step 3: Confirm the Device Is Online
After turning the device on:

The white LED lights will turn on from left to right in sequence, then flash twice.

This indicates the PLAATO Pro has successfully connected.
To confirm in the app:

Go to Account > Devices.

Check that the PLAATO Pro shows as connected within the last few minutes.

Ensure the WiFi icon is displayed next to the device.
If you see a crossed-cloud icon, the device is not connected.
Sometimes the connection can take a couple of minutes. Refresh the app a few times and check again.
